Junhua Zhang

Junhua is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Software College, Northeastern University (China), and a recipient of China’s National High-Level Young Talent Program. Prior to joining NEU, he was a Postdoc Research Fellow and Associate Lecturer at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Junhua received his PhD from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), and his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science from Shandong University.

Research Interests: Junhua’s research focuses on algorithms and systems for large-scale graph data, including graph algorithms, graph processing systems, and distributed and cloud computing. Recently, his work explores integrating graph data with modern AI techniques, such as graph machine learning and large language models.

We are recruiting highly motivated postgraduate students to join the NEU Data Intelligence Research Group (数据智能研究所). Our long-term research focuses on intelligent big-data governance and the integration of theory with practice.
