Short Bio

Junhua is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Software, Northeastern University (China), and a recipient of China’s National High-Level Young Talent Program. Prior to joining NEU in 2025, he was a Postdoc Research Fellow and Associate Lecturer at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Junhua received his PhD from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in 2023, and his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science from Shandong University in 2019 and 2016, respectively.

Research Interests: Junhua’s research focuses on algorithms and systems for large-scale graph data, including graph algorithms, graph processing systems, and distributed and cloud computing. Recently, his work explores integrating graph data with modern AI techniques, such as graph machine learning and large language models.
